Marmalade

With great disappointment and despair, I am saddened to announced that this week I have failed my number one rule in life. Let me start from the beginning...

It all started one day when my friends and I decided to watch Paddington. (If you never have seen it, then I strongly urge you to go to your nearest theater) My golly goodness! You will be in for a surprisingly pleasant and charming time!

My Very Short Paddington Review (*****)

This is actually one of the best films I have seen in a while. It just has this rare and timeless sense of humor that is hard to find these days. I say, it is similar to I Love Lucy. It is something for everyone (no matter what age they are) will enjoy. This film just has that clean, witty, and charming humor. And to top it off, the visuals are just plain B-E-A-U-tiful! There are plenty of scenes that are just a treat to my retinas! My probably favorite moments of this film would definitely be the clever way they chose to tell a past story. I don't want to spoil much more, but I am confident to say...

"YOU WILLLLLLLLLL ENJOY THIS FILM."

Oh yes yes! Sorry Taco! I feel like I am drifting away from my sole purpose of this blog post. Well, in the film, Paddington would express his deep love of Marmalade. I have never heard of Marmalade before, but if sure does look delicious when he eats it. This reminds me of Edmund and his weird love of Turkish Delights. I have never heard of Turkish Delights before, but I sure do want to try some too! So this brings me to about two days ago. As I was walking the aisles of Sprouts, I spotted jars of Marmalade!

SUGAR FREE. CALORIE FREE. FAT FREE.

Oh my the pure horror! But then I thought, how bad can it be?

WRONGGG! It did not have that sweet, delectable taste I imagined it to be.  So kids, remember my number one rule in life: Don't half-ass anything! If you are going to eat something unhealthy, make sure you go all the way! Don't get that fat free health stuff.

ps. Go watch Paddington. :)

Jem
